This feature service presents the 2025 intersection point layer derived from the United States Road Assessment Program (usRAP) dataset for UDOT’s Traffic and Safety group. The original data was sourced from the University of Utah and reflects conditions as of January 2025.

This layer was created through additional analysis of the statewide usRAP dataset, isolating and converting relevant intersection segments into point features to support focused safety analysis. This is for fed aid routes only.

Data included in this layer provides design attributes at intersection locations, including intersection type, number of lanes, and two crosspoint sections.

This layer is intended to support MIRE Fundamental Data Element (FDE) reporting and guide systemic safety analysis at roadway intersections across Utah’s transportation network. It complements crash-based safety tools by highlighting proactive design risks to help prioritize cost-effective safety improvements.

Data Source: University of Utah, usRAP Date Published: September
23, 2025
For further information, please follow the link to the usRAP website.
